Question Excessive air coming out of 05 superstock?

I've come to notice that on my WGP 05 Superstock, it shoots a bit louder than both of my friends' 04 WGP Mech AC'ers. Is there something to adjust to lower the excessive air output, or should I just leave it? And also, is there a way to 'sweet spot' the LPR without a chrono? Thx.

Depends on what type of barrel you two have and the amount of porting each have. Also depends if your paint to barrel match is good. If not, you could be using more air to get the velocity you desire. On the other hand, it depends if the reg is sweet spotted. A Maddman spring kit might be able to lower the noise and pressure and raise the efficiency.

Sweet spotting the LPR info here:

I assume that you mean to sweet spot the HPR (inline regulator) rather than the LPR? The HPR effects the velocity, while the LPR only changes the cocking pressure.

If it is the cocking pressure you want to adjust, then this does not require a chronograph.

If you are wanting to find the optimum operating pressure for your marker, you will need to adjust the HPR, and this will require the use of a chronograph to accurately identify the point at which velocity peaks.
