Gridlock Tryout information:
Gridlock will be holding tryouts to fill thirty plus spots on the d3, d2, and d1 teams for the 2007 season. Tryouts will be held on two different weekends. Players will be required to attend only one of those weekends but must be present for both Saturday and Sunday. Players who want to improve their chances of making the team may attend both tryouts.
Also:
Paintball Central is putting together a new team to play out of PBC Sports Park Charlotte and feed into the Gridlock/Trauma program. The team will play CFOA 5 man and CFOA xball. The team will be coached by members of D1 Gridlock and Trauma living in Charlotte. Tryouts will be held on two different weekends coinciding with the Gridlock tryouts.
When:
All tryouts will start at 10am- there is no set ending time.

January 6th and 7th

Cost:
PBC is offering a 50% discount on their usual field and air fee
Air will cost $5 per day
Field Fee will cost $5 per day
Paint will be discounted and sold for $40 per case
PBC Sports Park is a field paint only facility
What to Expect:
Tryouts will start at 10am. Players will pay their fees and be given a number. Expect to shoot around 2 cases per day. Once registration is complete, members of Trauma and Gridlock will lead everyone on a light cardio workout and stretches. The first part of the day will focus mainly on technical skills and drilling. At some point, players will be split up into squads and play points for the rest of the day. Also expect a short lunch break midway through the day.
We will make a post with a complete list of those people who will be invited to join the team after the second tryout weekend. Players will be judged by members of Trauma and D1 Gridlock.
