My new ride....

also has 2 wheels. The wheel count for this man is now:

Car: 4
Road bike: 2
Mountain bike: 2
Longboard: 4
Longboard: 4
Crappy mountain bike: 2
Crappy BMX bike: 2
Roller blades: 8

and now, my new BMX bike: 2

For all of you who grew up without Sesame Street and thus cannot perform simple addition, that equals 30.

The newest bike is a DBI (Dirt Bros. Industries)...no idea which model. It's steel, so it's actually heavier than my hardtail mtb, and about as heavy as my roommate's dual suspension. Nevertheless, it is pretty sweet as a cruiser. On top of that, it just has "bombproof" written all over it.

Without any further ado, I present Elena:

edit: Any BMXers know where I can find more info on DBI frames? Or can you ID this frame? It's supposedly a mid 90's model...thanks.

That looks like it'd be better suited to Dirt jumping than Street.

I'm thinking so...it cruises nicely, but the weight restricts certain activities.

lol old school. that thing would be more suited for street than dirt, since it seems like you wouldnt be able to get enough speed for dirt.

Have you ever been dirt jumping?

With those sort of bikes you go a Mach -1, its only on conventional bikes that you need a lot of speed.

I mean with a BMX style bike, If you had you'd know that speed is not a factor.

You wouldn't be able to race that. Go do tricks with it. I don't think I've ever heard of DBI before.

This has the measurements of some DBI Frames:
http://www.bikeguide.org/guides/frames/frames.php

Their website is for sale, I'd guess that they folded.

Thanks for that first site Zed. I measured everything, and the only variant is the dropout....mine's a 3/8", so I guess it's the Vic Signature. Every site I've been to has led me to believe that they no longer exist, although they still make some cogs/shirts...

Lol, I wasn't planning on racing it. It's more for just screwing around, and when I get home, some dirt jumps.

BMX racing is for sissy men anyway. DH is where that's at.

But what do I know, I'm just a freerider.

Sissiy men? HA! Go clear a 25 foot triple with very little run-up and very little room for landing straight into a pavement berm.
