Next Upgrade For Tippmann Custom Pro?
My setup is listed below with rough retail prices of the gun and upgrades and I basically have three general questions about it.
Tippmann Custom Pro $160
Response Trigger $90
Cyclone Feed $70
Dye Boomstick Two Piece Barrel (also have stock barrel) $135
(1) 47CI 3000psi HPA tank $70
(2) 20oz CO2 tanks and (1) 12oz CO2 tank $70 Yes I run CO2 and HPA just because I got the HPA tank from a friend after buying the CO2
1. What is a good next upgrade for the gun? But nothing that involves looks like a stock or paint or anything like that. What is a good next performance upgrade?
2. If I decided to sell my gun how much is it worth with everything listed?
3. Just in case I decide to upgrade to a better gun what is there that would be better in the price range of what I could sell my gun for?
THANKS!

id say mod the cyclone ( vortex, jet click, qeph) whatever. and upgrade to super rt for a mad rattling gat. i belive the hoses that you need are 1/8th inch inner diameter to make the super rt

1. Honestly I wouldn't upgrade a thing except for anti-siphons in the Co2 tanks. You have a nice setup there. The Cyclone doesn't need to be tampered with if you're using an RT, so I would just leave it alone. The only possible gun upgrade I see is a Stabilizer + vertical adapter, but that is a lot of money to spend for relatively little gain when using HPA, although Co2 performance would improve by a greater amount.
2. I'd say the value for just the gun is around $225, maybe $250 if you sold everything seperately.
3. Guns in that price range would include the Ion and Promaster. It's also very close the price range for nice older guns like DM4s, PM5s, and Timmys. All of them would easily be better than your Custom Pro.

1.Just anti siphon your CO2 tank. Your cyclone will be fine becuse it feeds up to 17bps and your response shoots at 15pbs so no worries there.
2. $200-300.
3.Ion or A-5.

I'd say go with a better hpa tank, like a corssfire 68/4500. They run for about 150$ at xpaintball.biz and they are really nice tanks for the price.

Come on Nick, don't hijack somebody else's thread.
In all honesty, I wouldn't move up to another Tippmann. I'm not trying to be mean about it--I started with a 98, but Tippmanns never really break into the high-end boundary, so even with a really nice A-5 or X7, I'd still consider it mid-level. You'd be working with limited funds, but as stated above, you could always go a couple years back to get a nice used marker. If you find a nice older Timmy or something along those lines, you'll be good to go for longer than you would with another Tippmann.

As much as I love my A-5, I'm going to go ahead and agree here. My next marker's gonna be something like a Blazer or a Mini. Simple, to the point, and incredibly effective.

I actually agree with you guys too but I just don't know what to go with and I am a poor college kid. I want to sell my gun and CO2 tanks and everything and start over fresh with something like an ion or anything simple and easy that I don't have to upgrade. I love my Tippmann too but I feel like there is just too much for me to putts with and it just costs me money and gets me into trouble. Thanks a lot guys I think I am going to bid farewell to my tippy and let some ebayers bid it up so I can buy something new but simple and in my price range. Again thanks for the advice guys and girls if there are any.
