Bko

I looked through all of the BKO threads and still have a few questions.
People say the regs on the first batch of BKO's are bad but the second batch is fixed. How do you tell if it is a 1st batch or a 2nd batch?

How do you maintence these? I have heard that they have a delrin bolt stock and you don't oil delrin bolts. Is this true? What else do you do to maintence them?

That is all I can remember right know. Thanks for your help. Hopefully I will be joining the ICD family soon!

both adjust velocity hpr is for the pressure inside the gun and coming out of the bolt, lpr is the pressure pushing the bolt

maintence

ok thanks now how do you mainrence these? I have heard they are easy to maintane but what do you do? i have heard that you don't oil delrin bolts. Is this true? Do you take the gun apart and oil it like my 98 custom? Same thing about the regulators. I have heard that you have to take them out and grease them too. Is this ture? Thanks for all your help

no oil!

To maintain them you simply take out the pin in the bolt, slide it out and wipe it down. I believe you can use teflon on it but no oil is to be used at all on the gun. It says it in your manual and on the gauge on your regulator. It is incredibly easy and fast. Only trick is to make sure you get the pin back in the right spot, but you can eye it up easily and that adds maybe 3 seconds.

grease

I hear a lot of people use White Lithium Grease for their paintball guns. Think that will work? BTW Why can't you use oil on it? Will is ruin the soleniod?

you got it, it is supposed to ruin the solenoid. I will have to check out that Whit eLithium, but if it is oil than it is a no go on your BKO.

(like that rhyme there, huh?)
