I heard there are two types of 04 BKOs. Is this true?
Yes, there is an
milled version and a
unmilled version.
What are the differences between the milled and unmilled 04 BKO?
The unmilled has the 04 HPR while the milled has the old style ICD reg.

What is the difference between the 04 BKO and previous ones?
The 04 unmilled has the 04 HPR and B2K LPR mounted under the barrel. This allows BKO owners to use aftermarket B2K LPRs.
I heard somewhere that the 04 bko has internal milling by the bolt?
The 04 BKO has no internal milling. It still uses the blue hose for all air transfer.

What are the main differences between the 04 HPR and the old style HPR?
The 04 is higher flowing and more consistent than the previous version. The 04 also seems to handle CO2 better.
While writing this I did a quick test between the 04 reg and the old version on my brothers bko. The 04 was +/- 2 better than the previous reg. (Examples: Old Style +/-6 04 +/-4)
What is the cap on the 04 BKOs?
Some of the first 04s being shipped had the 36bps board, however, I remember reading one of gregICDs posts about how the 04s are going to have a 15bps cap.
The mech cap on BKOs is still 18bps, because of the spring return ram. However, with vapor mods a BKO can get up to 20bps.

No, you will need to get some. They are standard size 10-32.
What barrel threads does the 04 BKO have?
Autococker threading.
Since the 04 BKO has cocker barrel threads, does that mean that its feedneck threads are also cocker threaded?
No, all BKOs, B2Ks, and FreeStyles use ICD threaded feednecks.
What barrel does the 04 BKO come with?
Early run 04s came with the old single piece BKO barrel. Now, all 04s are coming with the B2K 2-piece barrel.
What loader is best for the BKO?
The BKO is a fast gun. IMO I wouldnt have nothing less than an eVoLution 2 w/ Y-Board. If you are running a HALO B, I recommend the oring mod.

Are there aftermarket bodies for the BKO?
Murder Inc makes the only custom BKO. However, they dont sell bodies seperate because the price for the body alone is so high.

What do I lube my gun with?
Lube the HPR and LPR with either Dow33, Dow55, or White Lithium grease. I feel that Dow33 is the best.
Lubing the bolt is not a must, but its a good practice. Only use Teflon spray on this.
Never use paintball oils or petroleum based lubricants on the BKO.
My BKO fires hard one shot and then slower some other times. Whats up?
First, shoot your BKO fast and see if the guage is recharging fast. If it is, then you most likely your battery is going dead. Replace it and see what happens. If the guage is recharging slow, breakdown, clean, and relube the regs.

My solenoid is leaking. How do I fix it?
Turn your LPR down some.Most likely your just over pressurizing the solenoid.

My bolt doesnt cock the whole way back. Whats up with this?
Make sure there isnt any debris in the bolt or ram tube. If both are clean, then make sure the ram retaining screws arent too tight. They should be snug.

Should I buy a HP tank or LP tank?
Even though the 04 BKO is an LP gun, it will work just fine with a HP tank. Some of the first run BKOs had problems with HP tanks, because the HPR couldnt regulate the higher pressure well. Now, it makes no difference. IMO, go with the HP tank, because it can work well on any gun.
How many shots will I get off of ???
47/3000: Around 500

Im getting awful efficiency. How do I fix this?
First off, a stock BKO should be now lower than 225psi.
I found that with a high flowing valve, you get the best results at 200psi.
With that knowledge, readjust your regs and see if that helps.
Sweeting spotting your regs will only do so much. I suggest a higher flowing valve.
How do I fix a leaking valve?
Take out the valve and inspect both the valve oring and the cupseal. Make sure the oring isnt cracked or broken. Also, make sure the cupseal isnt damaged. If all is good, relube and reinstall. If the valve still leaks, try playing around with the valve screw. Make sure it is not too tight or not too loose. It should be snug.
My valve leaks when my tank gets low on psi.
Sometimes when your psi runs low, the cupseal doesnt make a good seal and leaks slightly. There is nothing you can really do for this, however, you should be on your way to a fill station by the time this problem occurs.
Aftermarket valves such as the vapor, zenitram, and red should not leak at any psi.
(JTramoDude) I like very light triggers and when taking out the middle trigger screw and spring, it seems to speed up my ROF. Is this safe?
It is perfectly safe, however some people like the feel and some dont.
Can my 2k3 frame take the vapor or checkit trigger?
No, 2k3 frames will not accept the vapor or checkit trigger.
Will the B2K Zenitram Frame or OTB frame fit my BKO?
Yes, both will fit fine. The BKO has the same trigger frame as the B2K.
