Custom Products seems to do their stuff right. I don't know which one would be better but based on better name I would say go with a Custom Products. sorry, I know it doesn't help you much.

I've never tried the evil on/off, but I love my cp on/off on a cp rail. I would take it over the direct mount one because it is more adjustable. It is also the best on/off I have ever tried. The on/off knob spins so easily and it looks really good too.

Of the ASA's mentioned, I would say that that was the right choice, but you could also take a look at the New Designz on/off/bleed: -
The Check-It Unimount: -
Or perhaps the Planet Eclipse OOPS (on/off/purge system): -
Really just personal preference between the quality ASA, but I would prefer one with the purge/bleed feature.

Yes it does, but, personal preference, I just think that the New Designz one looks better, so I thought I would offer you some choices!

The CP,, Check-it, and Hybrid on/offs are the best I've used. I've never had a chance to use the NDZ or Eclipse one, but both of them make great products.
The CP's are good looking and nice. Also pretty cheap compared to most on/offs. The direct mount it to be put right onto the bottom of your grip, while the other one is meant to fit on a drop, mini drop, or "blunt" drop.
The Check-its are also very good. Its the one I'd probably get, Its good looking and small, but sometimes it can be a pain to switch it from marker to marker since there's a ton of set screws. Its pretty easy to turn, looks good, and has never broken on my pal who uses one.
The Hybrid is also good. Its the easiest on/off to turn on and off while remaining hard enough to never do it by accident. Still, it isn't quite idiot proof. You'll break an oring if you constantly slide it back and forth for an hour like me. If you aren't an idiot like me, its a great on/off. I'd say its the best, but also expensive to get it and a mount for it, and I'd wait for a new model of it. The brass button is kind-of fugly.

Also the Check-it unimount2 is out now which got rid of the cage and is mounted on a rail now.

There's already a sticky, that includes a selection of air system accessories (I know, because I sat down and fixed all the links yesterday..... )
