X-Mag or IR3?
Ok, here is my new dilemna, do I get an X-Mag or an IR-3? I know that they are both pretty consistent, easy to maintain, reliable, and rarely chop. Now I need to worry about accuracy, and air efficiency. Whatever I get, I'm going to get a freak and a 68/4500 air system. So which do I get? Price does not matter to me.

I'd say X-Mag. The X-Mag not only rarely chops, it never chops, thanks to the LX kit.

Accuracy is a paint + barrel match ... neither gun is more accurate than the other, but coupling the paint and barrel in a good match is where your accuracy derives from.
The things that are nice about the Xmag are:
- Level 10: No chops (except in bad paint instances)
- Adjustable Breach for multiple feed types
- Lighter than an Angel Fly
- Compact
- ACE (just to make sure even in extreme circumstances there's no chop)
- Hybrid mode still intact: so if you need you can run it pure manual if the battery dies/etc which an Angel cant do.
There's tons of reasons ... but Id say Xmag

They should be in full production by the end of summer. Not a year.

Well, so far it seems everyone here likes the X-mag, and yes it is a bore to paint match, but after testing, some guns can be more accurate, due to the way air is dispersed. BUT WE ARE NOT GOING TO ARGUE ABOUT IT. Witch gun will be easier to adjust and use out of the box, I know I will have to fine tune it, but I want something easy to start with. And by the way, I have a line for a new X-mag if I want, so I could get it in like 2 weeks. So which gun would have the higher rate of fire? I can get a stock spyder to 14 bps, so don't worry about that, but which can go higher?

I think you mean 25...
The X-mag can shoot at 25-26bps with no measureable shootdown, although X and RT valves have been known to shoot-UP occasionally, sometimes as much as 50fps, but typically 5-15fps, I think. Personally, I think I'd rather have shootdown than get penalized or kicked out for having a hot gun.
Both markers are extremely low maintenance owing to the Mag's exceedingly simple design and the Angel's dependence on electronics. But I'd still choose the X-mag in this area, because you can actually fix the X-mag if something goes wrong, and, like someone said up there, you can switch to manual (mechanical) mode if your circuits short out. You can't do that with an Angel.
EDIT: BTW, have you ever thought of an electronic Autococker like the Eclipse E-Blade, the Racegun, or the E-Class Orracle? Autocockers are typically among the most gas efficient markers out there. I got 1300+ shots off a 68/3000 while running at a very low and inefficient pressure (~200psi as opposed to ~320-350psi) AND while I had a leak in my tank regulator; average for that size tank is ~700 shots.

Well, gee, you know, dry firing cycling rate doesn't really matter, now does it? A Spyder or Piranha can cycle at 40 easily.

Something to think about..
Another option is to pick up a new emag and put an the new ule body on it. http://www.automags.org/forums/attac...&postid=726450
If you took the sight rail off it would look very sexy.
Emags come with an aluminum valve too now as well as lx. I would think the setup i discribed would actually be lighter and cheaper than the xmag and shoot just as well.
The only thing you wouldn't have is the ace. Ace eyes kill your rof. Besides when you have an antichop bolt you don't need it.

Emag+Lighter Body+C&C+ACE+X-Valve= X-Mag sounds like a very good product, it could be the best gun out there, so I would get the X-Mag

Or did you ever consider an AKAMLP Viking?
It gets my vote for Best Value for electros. More and more people at my field have them and they are absolutely awesome. Fast, extremely quiet (As quiet as matrixes), reasonably priced, and now have the WAS board with ACE option (20 bucks)

I can go to www.automags.org and find atleast 1 X-Mag for sale at any given time. They ask for about 1350-1400. So what you do is offer full price, call em up, and have it shipped the next day. X-Mags are easy to find if you have the dough.
