what are the ACTUAL performance difference between the two. and which is ACTUALLY better.

Ok, they are the same...seriously, it doesnt matter what you get. Impulse is more upgradeable, a wee bit faster, plus it can use co2 without upgrades, but the BKO is cheaper, but bps, accuracy and all the same. Thats it. no more of these threads, theyre even, get what you want...

I might be wrong but im also tired....so dont hold it against me

The Impulse and the BKO don't even compare. The Impulse is faster, more consistant and uses it's solinoid to both push forward and pull back, unlike the BKO which uses a spring instead of pulling back, thus making it less consistant. The Impulse also comes with the Max Flow regulator system, and a progressive barrel. That and basically everything on the impulse can be upgraded if you want.

the impulse is also about 200 dollars more, the bko is only 255. If you spend the money you saved on upgrades for your bko it will be better than the impulse.

If you impulse owners would kindly remove your heads from your rear ends, im not saying your bad ppl, just confused... you would realize that with the 200 dollars you save you can
buy:

Vapor Valve-30
Chaos Chip-40
teardrop barrel-50
bl regulator-50 (on sale)
mity max-30

And then your BKO would have 2x better gas consistancy/efficiency and a better barrel than a stock impulse impulse, plus full auto capability with chip. And all this you can upgrade at your leisure

And if you need to shoot more than 18bps full auto than you are a uber-noob

If you need to shoot full auto you're a noob. Regardless of what you do, the BKO still uses a spring/solinoid combination.

The BKO also has a LPR and a delrin bolt stock. The new BKO boards are capped at 22bps I believe so the Imp is definately not faster stock.

If you need to spend 450 for a gun thats slower and heavier, and made by a worthless overpriced company than a gun for $255, that you can upgrade with the $190 saved to completely own said $450 gun then your a noob

Firstly try 400, secondly its faster. That and it comes with a 140$ regulator.

dont know if u guys know, but the 2k4 BKO's are going to have the 4-way soleniod, thats in the Bushies, so it will be able to rip!! when the 2k4's come out, it will be much better.

And for the extra $200 u can get a Cp reg(or any reg) barrel, drop forward, and mitey max!, which with those mods, will make it MUCH more consistant!

But u have to wait, i wish the releasing of markers was like cars, they come out in the middle of the year before they are supposed to. i.e. a 2k4 comes out in July 2k3

The BKO board has a 22 bps cap, so don't say it's slower than the Imp. I like the way Imps feel but you pay a lot and get less.

The bko is well worth you money, but the maxflo is really nice thou. also the bko is capped by the 2-way to 17ish bps I think... but will you need more that 17bps, and can you even shoot that fast?

Someone tested a BKO at like 20bps I believe and it worked fine but I don't think it will go too much faster if any at all. But even 17bps is fast enough.

Or maybe it was the internals, I'm not sure thou, but I thought the 2-way made a mech. cap at 17, maybe the 17 bps cap was for the gun running efficient or at the 300fps or something.

The vision is capped at 20, the equalizer, 35. Thats good to hear that the bko is getting a 4 way though. I might look into it.
