$800, which gun should I get

I have an 800 dollar budget for a new gun, I was thinking of an angel speed but I was wondering if you guys had any other suggestions. Also, what is your opinion on the speed if you've ever shot one. Thanks for the help.

I would look at the Viking. Arguably the best gun made.

if it was me.... I would look at the following markers...

1. AKA viking with eyes and WAS board

2. Custom cocker with E-blade

3. Speed/Angel

To help out your decision take a look at this:

BTW the new 2k4 Vikings will be out in December and they are worth waiting for. See the AKA press release in the AKA forum for more info.

I say keep saving and just get your hands on as many markers that you can and see which one you liked the best. I'm not going to tell you what to buy and don't let anyone else tell you either. It's all about preference. If you are thinking about an angel speed and have never shot one don't just buy it. Shoot one or a similar marker before you purchase anything. I hope I've helped.

My vote goes to Viking (if you don't mind its dull look)... although I only have an e-cocker.

definately get a 2k2 timmy.
they're great guns, they have good eyes, they shoot fast and they look great.
more and more people are going to timmies for a reason. It's the same reason the intimidator has barely changed in the past 3 years (the 2k4 excluded). its a gun that works and works well.

an extra $45 i think will get you a new 2003 smart parts shocker, Dynasty uses them, kid on my team has one, its really nice, super accurate, and very very lightweight, and extrememly fast

Lightbulb just a thot

do you have 800 for just a gun? or for everythang?

cuz if its just the gun, then go with a shocker, that thing is soo small and fast. i wish i had it, it makes my impy look like a whale.

but if you have 800 bucks as an overall budget get a reliable upgradeable gun and slap on a good barrel, internals, regulator and LPR, and nitro if you can.

a speed is a good gun but can you really walk the trigger well enough to hit 31 bps? lol that's why i'm surprised when people only go for speed, not accuracy and efficiency

I'd say PM5 but that might just be me. Either that or 05 Timmy, Speed, or 05 Ego if you can find one that cheap (they're around $950 now).

ps:

i also forgot bout the nerve. it's got most of what you need to play already on it and some sites include nitrous with it

comes with a freak stainless back, american front, integrated LPR, 22 bps, anti-chop somethin (i think), inline max-flo, and diff sized tanks.
try paintballgear.com, they have the best deals ever.

I think he should take a Shocker over a Nerve if he gets a Smart Parts gun. But once again, the PM5 would be the best in my opinion.
