I modded my switch so its super light now, I cant compare it to the 50g IS switch cause i never tried it but my mod turned out great. Im not responsible if you mess your switch up. Don't try if your unsure of your modding abilities. This is how I did it.
~parts are VERY fragile handle with care~
1)remove trigger switch from frame.
2)gently open up switch casing by pulling tabs(green side)
3)take out the wiring w/connectors(prongs), spring, and little copper piece (remember how and where everything goes back)
4)cut the hook and 1 round off the spring and reform the hook with needle nose pliers and stretch a little bit
5)put back together and test out, if still to stiff cut the hook and form another one. Test it out and repeat cutting if needed.
I cut about 2 rounds on mine stretched it and get about 5+bps more. Only bad thing was when i lost the spring and searched for 30 minutes only to find it stuck on my shorts. Not a hard mod to do just gotta be careful of all the parts.
yeah its just like Bodger's mod except i used the switch from my TES. I couldn't remember who was the one I read how to do this mod but i remembered it was Bodger, thanx man
808 HELP!
Heh, I have only one problem. After opening the switch casing and cutting a couple of loops off of the spring, I apparently didn't pay enough attention to the way things were placed. Can you help me get this back together? PLEASE!
You're a lifesaver, right after I posted, I went to radioshack for one of their miniswitches. After looking at it, I replaced that spring in my original switch casing and put it back together. Superlight trigger pull now. Thanks a million. You kick *** Bowl
no prob....... now you can rip 15bps easily just make sure your hopper can keep up. screw on your tank and hit the back of your tank, if your gun goes off then your trigger is to light and can be dangerous.

Oh ok, so that's one way to tell eh? I'll do that, I sure don't want to accidently nail myself in the goods while I'm sliding into a bunker, heh
I just did this mod to my TES and my friends imagine, and both own so bad now. Its like, idk but it is so fast. It took me like an hour on both but mainly on mine because it was the first one. Then an hour on his because it was different and i had to get the pins out of the trigger frame.
because then you would have to go to radioshack, buy a switch then change it. With this one, you don't have to go to radioshack and you also don't have to do any soldering.
if you mess up goto radio shack and get a new switch. replace your overstretched/broken spring with the radio shack spring for a solderless fix. another way to lighen trigger is to slightly bend the top prong (the one that isn't used) inwards to make a smaller travel space. if you do both types of trigger mods you'll end up with one mean bouncin' machine. to check for bounce gas up your gun and smack the back of the tank, if it goes off your probably gonna bounce. the most common problem is an overstretched spring so be very careful. use a lighter or candle to quickly heat the spring, stretch it then dunk in water. to much heat on the spring will permanently warp it.
after you mod your switch gas up your gun with NO paint in it. now give the bottom/end of your tank a bump with your fist or "spank your tank". if your gun dry fires you will have trigger bounce. there is a very very small chance of ruining your gun by doing this. hope this helps
no not at all. all this mod does is lighten your trigger pull alot, so much that it is possible to get bounce. that is why I say to check for bounce by "the smack your tank method".
