Sending your marker in for PDS

I opened up a box today that was not marked for PDS and it know has been put onto that list. but we received this marker a couple of weeks ago. This person is going to have to wait a couple of more weeks. If the person had written on the outside of the box. It would have been mailed two days ago done.

JUST REMEMBER TO PUT "PDS" ON THE BOX SO IT DOES NOT GO INTO REPAIRS, THIS WAY YOU WILL HAVE A FASTER TURN AROUND TIME.
btw, good job impya.

You would have to contact ICD and have them charge your card or send in a MO.

Is PDS the eye ICD uses. Just to be sure.
So you can just put some cash in the box and they will install the eye in it?

Yes, PDS is ICDs ACE system.
I would not put cash in the box. I get ahold of ICD and see whol you have to make a Money Order out to.

I sent my BKO in for PDS about 2-3 weeks ago, and still have no word on my marker, so do not expect to get it back right away. I am not bashing ICD at all, I am just letting the people know.

if you have the cash there is no substitute for PDS. PDS can be done by a local airsmith (if u know one) but there is the risk of drilling the holes in correctly and your BKO being screwd up. I would not trust my local shop unless they have an airsmith with this kind of past experience. Even then though you will more then likely be paying the same cost.

New price
I emailed ICD today and they replied my B2K would be $125 for PDS, not $120.
Cocker threading would be $65.
4-6 weeks

How come it's so much? Do they modify your old body or give you a new drilled one? (noob question, i know) And if i get a b2k without PDS, do you think it's worth the $125?

They mill the body to fit eyes, the cover plates, a second detent hole, replace your wiring harness, and mill a stop for the PDS switch. It's ok but go here to get PDS, much cheaper and quite nice. www.pyropb.com

not quite sure what you mean.
this thread is referring to sending in a B2K or BKO which does not have PDS and getting PDS installed.
there are also aftermarket wiring harnesses (both PDS and non PDS versions) that you can get to replace the stock one, which is notoriously fragile. so aftermarket harnesses are basically stronger and might have better LED's and microswitches, but the eyes themselves are the same.
does this help?
