All my life I've been searching for something
Something never comes never leads to nothing
Nothing satisfies but I'm getting close
Closer to the prize at the end of the road

nothing f/s right now
I vote for the b2k4 as well. My team mate has a rat jr. and my bushy is definitely lighter, has a better trigger frame (more room for fingers), and is smaller (may be good or bad depending on your preference).
Ergonomics are slightly different between the two though, so see if you can hold both before buying. They also shoot very similar in overall performance.

The Rat doesn't seem to step up the performance of the stock Impulse that much. A lot is cosmetics. I would go for the B2k4 if you like it. Rember though it all boils down to personal preference.
B2k4 w/pds gets my vote...overall feel is better IMO. Seems so secure of its self..i dunno how to explain it...also ICD community is great and stock the B2k4 will give you a better than and perform. Also...a few upgrades like chaos board you will be a happy camper.

Someone hasn't shot a nice Rat...
Just look at the internal differences. You gotta be kidding me if you think the stock Impy and Rat aren't that different.

I'm not saying that it doesn't step up the performance. It just seemed to me that the Rat wasn't a huge step up from a stock Imp. Personally I think they should at least throw an LPR on the Rat.
The Rat impulse is infinetly better than the Bushmaster.
One: The internals are lighter and are made entirely of delrin.
Two: The Rat has a w.a.s board (this caps out at 40 bps!)
Three: The Rat is lighter. Especially if you get a OTB Vert frame.

The bushy's internals are just as nice, and it doesn't make a difference. The Bushy has a board capped at 66.6cps I believe. And the Rat is not much lighter. And SP is leading to the downfall of paintball.
Both can get OTB frame.
The bushy has LPR.
Can you shoot 40 cps? The bushy board is either 66.66 or 36, have fun getting ur fingers to move that fast.
Sp sues everyone Go b2k4!

Who cares if WAS makes an Equalizer board for Impulses? The Bushmaster Chaos board is pretty much the same thing, with same speeds and features for 1/3 the price. Paintballa2k4, the Bushy stock board is capped at 36 but you can get the 66.6 board, like you mentioned, from Shocktech.

Two: The Rat has a w.a.s board (this caps out at 40 bps!) No, again, The WAS boards are capped at 1million cps, a copy of the chaos boards which are capped at 1 million cps also.
Three: The Rat is lighter. Especially if you get a OTB Vert frame. Like what? Lighter than 2.6 lbs?
Sorry, don't listen to me about Impulses because that was my brother who posted that reply. He has a Impulse with aftermarket Vision and soon to be W.A.S. board. He is so set on the fact that Impulses are better than everything, especially my Autococker. I hate him.
