They are both great guns, it all comes down to personal preference in this decision. Shoot both and decide from there. If you can't shoot both then you're just going to have to make a guess at which you will like better.

I would take a Trix anyday. Dye Matrices. are something like $800. They aren't more expensive.

I havn't heard any problems of it uncocking. The only reason I can think of is that the person you heard this from had a low battery. The Alias also has an eye so I don't know how it could chop.

Wait, Dye Matrix or DM4? Because if it's the Dye Matrix, then there's really no question that the Alias is better. It's Lighter, faster, better milling, better barrel and is just totally secks. It's also $400 more than a Dye Matrix. If it's the DM4, then it's closer, but the Alias is still at the top.

I dunno about all that. Trixes are among my favorite guns and the timmys I've seen haven't ever impressed me all that much. Granted I haven't actually shot the alias, but I bet it's not much different.
XMags are still the best though.

Eh. Vikings kick all asses. Alias is faster, lighter, and more efficient that the DM4 or Dye Matrix. It's also much secksier than the Dye Trix, the DM4 I think is ugly, so I'd put that alias above that too. (which you may not though)

Go with Alias, thos guns are light, fast, VERY EXTREMELY easy to shoot high bps with em, and better milling than any trixes. In a DM4 ur paying about 500 more dollars just to have an LCD taken off, a bit lighter gun, and milling. Timmies on top man.
