1. 3-Ways: Belsales Hollowpoint, Shocktech Bomb, and the CT 3-Way are some popular upgrades.

Why upgrade the 3-way?
Most people do it for looks, and to shorten and smoothen out their trigger pull.

2. Rams: Eclipse Nexus, Belsales .44 mag, WGP MP4 are some popular ones.

Why upgrade the Ram?
You would want to upgrade this for looks, and to make your marker cycle smoother.

QEV's?
QEV's stand for Quick Exhaust Valve. They vent out air, that way your Ram doesn't have to at the end of the cycle, in turn increases cycling speed.

3. LPR:
LPR stands for Low Pressure Regulator. Some popular ones are Palmer's, Sonic, and Tickler LPR's. The only real difference between one LPR to the next is looks, and adjustably.

Why upgrade my LPR?
Most people do it for external adjustably, since the stock one, you have to take it apart to adjust.

4. Pneumatic Hoses
An essential to all 'Cockers, these deliver the air from the 3-Way to: The front and back barbs of the Ram, and to the barb of the LPR.

Which order do I put them in for my Hinge frame?
In order starting with the first barb on the 3-way (closest one to the gun):

1. To the barb on the back of the Ram (nearest to the gun)
2. To the barb on the LPR
3. To the barb on the front of the Ram (farthest away from the gun)

Which hoses do I get?
Your 'Cocker comes stock with them, but incase you want to add some flare, or just make the hoses match your color scheme, I would suggest a couple feet of Compulsive hoses from www.compulsivepaintball.com Or, you can buy a hose kit. Shocktech makes one, and it includes top-hats that replace your barbs.

barb is what the hose goes on to, and the top hat goes over the hose and barb. this keeps the hose from coming off at high pressures

ram is an important upgrade. also i replace my hoses on my front block every time i take them off. i heard its not good to use the same hose twice. also that hose set up he ad up there for the hinge frame. if u have a bomb 3-way and a hinge the goses are reversed. also make sure when u put a new 3-way on that u turn ur inline regulator down because if its too high it may chip or damage ur o-rings. resalting in a leaking sound.(yeah i did it) lucky the bomb comes with an extra set of o rings.
***** also very important*****
when u put ur new 3 way on DONT GROUND IT. (screw it in all the way) im not sure if the new ones have o-rings or not but i put an o-ring on my so i didnt screw it in to far.

Speaking of top hats, I finally managed to locate some Boonie Boys skull 3-way top hats. These are gonna be so slick, $20 a set though.

keep lowering it and lowering it until the gun cannot complete a full cycle (cock/clear the breach.) then turn it about a 1/4 turn up and ur good to go.

Some difference, although not really all that good of one. I found that I could shorten my 3-way stroke with QEVs. People say that you get +3ps or so with QEVs on a mech cocker, and ~+8bps on an electro (read the reviews). I don't have a chrono that counts shots so I really can't tell you from my own experience.

As long as you are adding QEVs, may I also suggest a ram upgrade as well, to a Belsales/Eclipse? You will have a relatively fast mech cocker with this combination, and it would be more e-blade ready should you decide to upgrade the frame in the future.

QEVs will increase the cycle rate of the ram, whether they are installed on an Autococker with an electronic frame OR a mechanical frame, but they can't increase the rate at which you can actually pull a mechanical trigger, so cannot necessarily be used to increase your fire rate. Any decent ram, in good condition and run at a sensible pressure, will be able to cycle as fast as you can pull a mechanical trigger without short stroking. QEVs could however avoid some cocking and short stroking issues by helping to make sure that the ram cocks the marker quicker then you can release the trigger.

Alternatively, QEVs could be used to allow you to lower the cocking pressure, while maintaining the same cycle rate. That will help you to avoid chops.
