My paintballs are rolling out of my barrel! What gives?

Autocockers are closed bolt markers, and the paint is pushed into the barrel when the bolt is at rest. This means that if your paintballs are too small they'll roll right through the barrel. You have two options: Get a barrel kit with varying bore sizes to match to your paintballs, or get larger paintballs.

BACKBLOCK
The Back block is what cocks the gun by pushing the cocking rod and hammer back and retracts the bolt to let another ball into the breech. The lighter the backblock the better because it lowers the cocking mass, even on a mech cocker this will reduce kick.

BEAVERTAIL
Beavertail stops the backblock from smacking you in the face to hard, that doesnt mean it wont, it still can (which sucks) Other then that it just looks cool.
You dont need one but some tournies do require them.

BALLDETENTS
Stops the balls from double feeding. that doesn't mean it will stop the balls from rolling out of the berral because the bolt pushes past the detent. All that stops the balls from rolling out is a ball to berral match.

No never heard of that use...
It's mainly for looks and to protect your face from the backblock.

yeah. they used to set their lugs high enough that they could push on the cocking rod by hand and open the valve a lot longer. this produced a hot shot.
