I'm just spray painting the pods for My Nvader... They look good so far.
Dont do to thick of coats.... I'll get back to you..
All I did was spray paint them white... Now I'm spray painting them green.
With my yellow thermals it will look sweet. I'll try to post a pic...
personaly, i woundnt try to paint a mask. but if you want to, make sure you use some sand paper on it to make a course surface for the paint to stick to.

GREEN PODS
I also did my visor... i may have problems with it cracking
You can get flexible plastic paint at some automotive parts stores. I used SEM paint. I play in the woods, jagger bushes every where and it hasn't come off after 3 months.
ive sanded my IZE it was purple and p[ainted it black..there was some cracking..actually alot...before i even sanded it... u can try using ENAMEL since its more stretchable than automotive paint..but still i think i will have some cracking..

Like mentioned earlier a coarse surface is needed (ive learned from my mistakes) and the paint will crack and buble if it is not painted in the right climate. What do i mean by this, if you read the spray paint can it would probally say to paint in climates 65-98 deggrees. I painted the plastics one my motorcycle(I Know its not a piantball gun but bare with me) in 50 degree weather outside and the paint cracked and now everytime i ride paint flakes are trailing me.
Good luck to yah, Oh yha a good thing to do to is to ask for someadvice from the old dude at the hardware store.
take out your lens, sand all the plastic down, wipe all the dust off
spray a primer down made for plastic, let it dry 24hrs. mask off your design. paint it with the colors you want. ( i used autoair paint by Createx ) let that dry another 24hrs then your last step is to clear coat it in thin coats. i laid down 3 coats of clear. here is the finished product. hope you like it
ps its not camo, cuz all i do is play speedball
