Need some help with my timmy

Hi I got this timmy about a year ago and played with it just a couple of times and never really messed with it except a little adjustment on the HPR to set the velocity. I am getting ready to sell it and its giving me a little trouble. when I aired it up the guage shot right up towards 100 so I quickly depressurized it before i blew the noid. I checked the stickes and saw that I should screw both set screws on the regs flush and then screw the lpr in until it gets to the correct operating pressure and then adjust the HPR but it still tries to shoot up past where it should be and it is leaking from the front of the LPR.

Does the gun just need to be pulled apart and lubed properly or do you think something else is wrong?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Sounds like the piston oring is shot on the LPR allowing more pressure to pass through the reg then you set it at.

Check your LPR base o-ring. It is the "square" o-ring. If that is damaged, the LPR is bypassed.

do I have to purchase a whole new o-ring kit since it sounds specialized? Or is it a standard size that I can purchase individually
