Inline is the style that screws into the vertical asa, and acts like a foregrip. This is what you should get.

I was at the aka vendor today, and i bought a tornado valve for the gun in my signature, and they dont work on Draguns, cause i had them install it and they couldn't, because of the type of hammer it comes with. So for all you people with draguns the aka tornado valve doesn't work.

wow, that really surprises me that the tornado valve doesn't work, cause it's actually made for the long striker spyders like the black dragun is modeled after. but that's really nice to know cause i was thinking of getting one. thanks for the advice.

I have a spyder and a bd and the valves, valve pins, and strikers are interchangable. Do you have a compact? That could be the problem.

For Samis (i think you were talking to me) i have the sniper which is in my signature, and the guy at the vendor said that it doesn't have a big hammer or striker or something to that extent.

IMO I would say get the AA 2002, its a newer model than the 2001 meaning some difference maybe built different a little, and it looks nicer. The Bigshot ive heard good things about it but im not sure cause ive never seen 1 before. But remember the most iportant thing i paint and barrel match, you can go search it up on the barrel forum.

There is no difference except apearance, I think people just like switching their fronts ocasionally for a new look or feel but performance is the same.

Speaking with M3 Tech Support today on the phone about low pressure the tech had the following recommendations:

* AKA Tornado valve
* AKA Lightning bolt
* AKA Sidewinder regulator
* Mill out the verticle regulator (drill the holes larger)
* He said he also milled out his low pressure chamber
* He did not specifically mention changing springs, and I forgot to specifically ask

With the above setup he says he runs 225psi @ 280fps.

i hear that the black dragun lcd reg can be turned down to a lower pressure. could i just remove the venturi from my stock bolt, drill out my va, sand down my valve pin, sand my internals with 1000 grit and just turn down the reg at no cost?

what kind of tapering is the back of a dragun stock bolt? I'm nervous to sand down my internals...so i'm wondering if either of these bandit bolts would work with the flush cocking of the dragun:

or

http://joystreasures.itctv.com/j/joy...=E&PKV=BBN-009|0

if not..well any other techniques or advice on doing the sanding and polishing of internals from otter sc customs...?

alright for christmas i think im coming into a bit of money.

what would all the upgrades to a stock black dragun lcd be? (i mean every little thing.. like specifics)

i play front. im a n00b. but i have some money. suggestion on a hopper? barrel? bolt? trigger? tank (nitro) etc etc.

i use all stock, with a kapp hopper, 20oz co2, and a spectra proteus mask

but i want to get a new hopper, and new tank, i love the mask

Read the entire thread and you will find your answers. The The screw that retains the snapback on the bolt is a 4mm x 40mm x .7pitch and it can easily removed if you follow the directions on CIP.

i'm not exactly a machining expert or math whiz..in fact i suck at math, but how would convert that measurement, 4mm x 40mm x .7 pitch into the measurement form of like 10/32 and such. Not unless that above measurement comes out as like 4/40 or something...

All M3 bolts are metric. You can try to retap the 4mm/.7 to a 10/32 but buying a 4mm x.7pitch x40mm long screw would be much easier.

I'm live in Japan and a 4mm x .7pitch is a common size metric screw so it should be easily found at Home Depot.

I tried sanding and polishing the internals and turning down the reg and it didn't make a difference.

Polishing the internals decreasing the chance of something binding and reduces friction. Why did you lower the pressure on your reg? Lowering the pressure doesn't do anything besides make your gun worker harder if you don't have the full compliment of LP parts.
