Film on E-Vents lens?

Ok my noob friend say that there is a film on the back of the stock dark lens for the events. If there is then tell me please.

Some companies place a protective film on their lenses for packaging/shipping purposes but you're supposed to peel it off before you play (i know for certain JT does that).

Or is he talking about an anti-fog film or coating of some kind? Then yes, it may have something like that. VForce lenses do.
