Kinda freaking out

Hi guys, I decided to upgrade my 98c a couple of days ago. I ordered a Cyclone feed and a Response trigger (plus some other things but that's not important). I decided to look up some YouTube videos to find out how to install these parts. That's when I find out that I only have one space for the air to plug into.

What do I do?

Get one of these. It's got all the parts you need, and the larger hoses and fittings will allow the increased airflow you'll need to be able to cycle both the R/T and the Cyclone at once.

One thing to pay attention to, though. In the kit, there's a tiny cylinder made of aluminum with a hole down the middle. Install this cylinder inside the hose that goes to the Cyclone. This stops excessive airflow reaching the Cyclone which could cause violent over-rotation issues. Also, it ensures that you feed buttloads of air to the R/T, which is a good thing.

Really, is this over-rotation a new thing?

Nope. But it only applies to improperly installed Super R/T kits. And IIRC, it's actually an under-rotation problem, which means I misspoke. Over-actuation, under-rotation. The Cyclone piston would get so much air that it would stay engaged and skip shots.

The cure for that is to starve the system by shooting 20+ BPS .
