Question Noob w/o goggles

i have basically sock gun except for a remote. my question is i dont have goggles yet and i read ur reviews on the vforce armor goggles and it was basically 10 or low. good or bad for noob (especially since i only have itchy, smelly rental masks to compare it to) and i want to kno if the PMI 4+1 harness is good for noobs (im pretty small and they said it sticks off ur sides (32 waist)

Take a look at the JT flex-7 or the Nvader thermal. Those would be very good for starting out or just go all out and get a proteus or invision.

v-force shield or JT flex-7 or spectra would be a nice mask to start off with. just find one that you like...ask your proshop if you can try em on to make sure the mask is comfortable when you have it on.

as for a pack, a 4+1 is convenient if you're using a remote system, but other than that i don't like it that much at all. look at redz belts or a dye attack pack. they do cost a lot however, so you might wann try playing without a pack for a little bit to see if you wanna stay in the sport or not.

V-Force makes the best goggles available, in my opinion. They offer the best field of view of any goggles I have ever worn, and I've worn just about everything. They are also the easiest on the market to change lenses. I can change my lens in 10-15 seconds. A JT mask will require 5-10 minutes to accomplish the same task.

Also, AK is right. Get a shield instead of the armor. A much better product. or even better, get the Morph.

my basic problem is cost and at a site i kno of i can get the armor for $20 (http://www.xpaintball.com/vforargog.html)and the pmi for under $20 with tubes, (http://www.xpaintball.com/blacpmi41har.html) i have a remote already and dont shoot much ammo but this pmi was a buck more than a redz that was a 2+1 w/o tubes.

You can get odd colored Flex-7's for very cheap, and you can get great deals off of eBay.
