quick e-force gti question

Does the GTi fire with the board turned off? I am considering getting one, and that would be a nice feature. If not, I will just buy a mech frame with it so I can swap out the frames.

Dude, Didnt you just Get an A-5? Thats not that much of a performance increase. There like $200ish right. That Plus 80ish is a brand new Ion. Or Buy a Phantom like Me!

no the GTI will not fire without the board on (seeing how it is eletronic). You could buy a semi frame (i dont know why). If you are worried about the battery running out just keep a spare 9 volt around. The battries last for 4000 shots i think

The reason I chose the GTi is because its the cheapest decent electro I could find, and the point was to get an electro. (Mainly for the firing modes, true full auto, and the fact that I've never owned or even fired an electro.)

I agree completely....By the way, the G3 is an e-force too

And no matter which one you choose, as long as you remember to plug it in the night before, I promise you will be hard pressed to kill the battery in a single day.

It even comes with a car charger, so if you forget to do that the night before you can still plug it in while driving to the field. Hopefully the trip is long enough to give it enough juice to last the day. Plus, I always keep a spare 9V battery in my bag just in case...

Oh, oops. I'm just not too familiar with the older pirahnas. But that might be a very viable option... Anyway, thank you very much for the replies.

No problem....I probbaly should have been more specific. As much as I like Pirahnas, you MIGHT consider getting a the e-frame for your tippy. Its pretty good and come with adjustable ramping. I used my friends and it was not bad at all. I would usually recomend Pirahna over Tippys, but you seem to already have some money invested in your A5.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. It would probably be a lot more practical to get an E-Grip than to buy a whole new gun. Then again, I have been known to be completely impractical and go against what makes sense.

EDIT: I almost forgot, most of the parts on my A-5 are from my old PMI Black Maxx.
