getting a 5.0

hey im getting a 5.0. My last gun was a core sharc(sucked). before that some tornado for like 50 dollars good for a week then sucked......most reliable gun i ever had was a BE talon(3 years) yeah i miss the good ole days, but time to move into the future. Im just now gettin back in the game.

i just got my 5.0 in today............. waiting for my n2 tank before shootin it........ thinkin about a maxflo tank, hos that sound....it cost more than gun...lol

Just get like a 68/3000 PMI/Kingman nitro tank. Low price, good quality.

well i got my maxflo 68/4500 for only 70 dollars shipped, should be here next week. now im wondering what kinda barrel to get.....and i have to get a drop now, but no big deal, got any suggestions on a drop or barrel.

Congrats on the new gun! You will love it.
Anyways, for the drop, I would reccomend a Bullet Drop.
For the barrel, get a Blue to silver fade PMI Razzor 14".
They are about $30-40, and shoot GREAT. They also look awesome on JT 5.0's!

As for barrels. A nice cheap barrel is the CP One peice. It runs for only about 40 bucks and is excellent. CP has great costumer service, quality, and hot looking products.

As for drops? See if you can go try some out. Everyone likes different size drops. If you perfer big drops, check out the Dead On Paintball drops. For small to mid size drops, check out Shocktech

well i got a drop on the way.......it is called a universal rail drop......looks awesome, really custom looking, it drops about 3 inches and puts the tank forward 8 inches, talk about balance, this gun is going to be the best balanced gun ever. as for barrel what about a aci graffitii series 12". are these any good for a 5.0?

And do you think i should go low pressure or run high pressure? give me some opionions.

do you mean high pressure tank? if so get high prssure. most blowbacks run about 800 psi i belive ... if you get a low pressure n2 tank you proly wont get your gun to shoot

Where did you get a 68/45 Max-Flow for 70 dollars?

Anyway, running your gun low pressure will make it more efficient and make it quieter. Just get an AKA Tornadoo Valve installed and you'll be running low pressure, real low pressure.

As for the barrel, get an Empire Kit, you can get a smaller kit for about 90 bux, their great barrels.

well i got a 68/4500 maxflo tank from ebay as well as the dropforward. im going to buy the rest of my stuff off ebay too. by the way i got my gun...it shoots pretty good, not great, but that could change as soon as i get a new barrel and my n2 tank in. Im trying to find a really good barrel for around 35-45 dollars........if anyone has suggetions let me know. I think i might get myself an angel pretty soon....so i might not even bother upgading anymore.....well any barrel suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

If you want to really get a great barrel, go for the Dye Ultralight. Try to stay away from the barrel kits, cause i dont think theyre needed for the Excellerators.
But if you dont have the money, the CP 1 piece is excellent.

Why stay away from the barrel kits? They work great on any gun.

The DYE Ultralite is a good barrel though, that is what I'm getting for my cocker

Yeah theyre good on any gun, but i dont think its necissery on these kinda guns. I mean you can get a great barrel and save tons of money, and like you said...the Dye Ultralight is a great choice.
