i still own one of these but BE version (avenger 3) i bought a pmi razzor barrel for it (spyder thread) i tried with all my might to try to modify it but the parts were too expensive. i decided in dishing out 300 smackers on an ion. sorry for rambling on!

anyway, there are many mods for an orion if your able to dish out money for them. someone correct me if im wrong, but i think a after market superfly bolt for the spyder victor is compatible. another thing, the connection were the hose is connected to the gun is not a standard sized fitting. you have to buy an adapter in order to put a reg or expansion chamber. you may already know, they accept spyder barrel threadings. there is also an electronic gripframe sold by viewloader that will give your gun about 9 bps. only problem is it costs $80. tell your friend that if he/she takes well care of the gun, it will last forever.

ps. i know a homemade mod for the gun involving the trigger. remove the gripframe and replace the stock trigger spring with a pen spring. It works!
