Things about the impy...

i'm getting an vert max-flo impy, and i'm wondering a couple of things...

first off, is the vision eye worth it? it's an extra $100, and i'm on a VERY tite budget...

also, is there a real diff between the vert and asa reg other than that the vert is vert, and the asa reg is an asa reg, and that u cant use the asa reg and an hpa system easily?

and, what is the impy capped at?

Not unless you chop frequently. I have had no problems with chopping so far with my eyeless imp.

Not really, they're both great regs. The horizontal maxflo just makes it a little taller.

Any boards made after march '03 are capped at 20bps(at least i'm pretty sure, it's still debated in the imp forums )

I'd with a 12". 14" or longer just seems kind of pointless most of the time with the exception of supair. And anything shorter than 12" just seems too short.

aiite...i'm actually getting a 10" ultralite, so yea...

also, does co2 in any way damage the gun? im getting kinda iffy, 'cause with almost any other electro, the co2 would immediately smurf the solenoid, or would mess the reg up(i know there wouldn't be an issue wit the reg tho)...

the max flow pretty much saves the impulse from any damage cause it runs awesome on CO2. Definitely get an anti-siphon too cause then it is about 98% unlikely you will get liquid CO2 into your imp. I have been running A/S CO2 for a long time and have yet to see a problem with it.

And from what i heard straight from a smartparts rep., the impulse boards are still capped at 13.7bps without vision and 20bps with vision.
