Sorry but I really do not know. Board mods and such are not as common on Piranhas as they are other markers, i.e. Spyders.

jdub, you should add a post regarding the sale of your custom triggers. I could also put it the upgrade post about triggers.

Talking Piranha Evo Upgrades

As a new Evo Owner and newer paintball player ( May 04) I would like to say THANKS to everybody who is giving info. This really helps me and everybody else out a ton. Ok..I bought a brand new Blue-Black Fade Piranha Evo about two weeks ago. I would like to know if you have to physically remove the grip frame to replace the actual trigger with the BOSS Trigger? Everything for right now is stock on my gun except for a PMI Razzor 14" barrel. I really love this sport and play at Paintball Sams in Wisconsin. I am one of the older players out on the field and love giving everybody a run for the money " I have captured the flag twice now". Again thanks for all this info. I am hoping the Boss trigger will give me a bit more shots for the money.. still trying to learn how to WALK the trigger and cannot seem to get the stock trigger going very fast. I was an M-60 gunner in the Army.. walked that pretty good in Grenada
Thanks again for all the posts.. I check and read these boards every night.
Cheers
Bonneville

Some people (and the instruction manual for the trigger itself) say that you need to lift up the board and slide the trigger out from that side, which would necessitate unscrewing and removing the frame. I was able to get the trigger out without removing the frame just by wiggling it a bit.

I've got some ideas to upgrade my EVO heres some ideas ive been tossing around. What you think. (already got HPA)

Boss Blade Trigger
Evil Detonator Regulator (0-500psi)
RJ Skateworks BOSS
All American Back to fit my 16" All American barrel for A5
maybe a spring kit if its worth it.

much thanks for advice

(do you need to buy the BOSS EVO bolt when buying a RJ Skateworks bolt or will the regular piranha bolt work?)

The Boss bolt is supposed to he a lot better than the stock one. Besides, its made out of delrin so it wont scratch up the innards of the body.

Thats not exacly what i ment. On the RJ Skateworks site they have two bolts listed a bolt labeled piranha and one labeled EVO which one works or will either work.

I think the Evo bolt is specifically for the Evo and its flush cocking ability. I am not sure on this, but you should email Ross at the site and get a definitive answer to your question.

But back to the other listed upgrades. The Detonator Reg, and the Blade Trigger are they decent upgrades if anyone has had any experience with them?

No, definently not for that much money. They barely reduce kick and allow you to recock at a lower psi.
