1. Good.
2. Not until you have at least a new bolt, valve, and HPA. Max output 500psi.
3. I've heard good things about these.
4.Expanding on #2: Boss bolt. Nitro (HPA) is a good idea.

Revy and boomstick are fine.

Be sure you have enough money left over to buy paint and actually play the game.

No, he should definitely make sure he has a good regulator before a Boss Bolt. The Boss Bolt is fine, but the stock one is suitable. The regulator should definitely come first. However, with a Detonator, you will most likely need HPA if you don't already have it. Then, get a Boss Bolt before a new valve. You may not even see any performance differences w/a new valve. You may be able to run at lower pressures, but the efficiency may not be as good as with the stock valve.

Getting the Boss Blade first is a good choice.

I was talking about the Det in particular. The boss bolt is higher-flowing than the stock bolt, as are the other parts I mentioned. He would need these to operate efficiently at 500psi or below. If he were to get a higher-output regulator like a Stabilizer, then he would not need those high-flow parts.

It'll be hard to outshoot a Revvy with an EXT board. The revvy is fine.

I haven't used the evil bolts, but I hear that they suck.

Confused

ok. i am definatly gettting the boss trigger first. i want to get a reg, so what is the best i can get? i have a 91/4500 nitroduck. i think that the evil bolt is good, but should i consider getting a new bolt. my main concern is chopping. i play back on my team and i cant afford to chop. my second concern is trying to quiet my gun. so if someone can devise me a plan on what to buy to eliminate chops that would be excellent. also if anyone has any ideas on how to make my gun NOT sound like a shotgun that would also be nice.
thanx again

Hm... I think I know how to make anti-chop bolts, but that requires drills and mills that I don't have access to.

Buy a force-feed loader like an egg or halo if you don't want to chop.

Hm... running at lower pressure could quiet your gun down. Barrels have a lot to do with noise as well.

The Boss Bolt is the best bolt for Piranhas. Check the very first posts in this thread for regulator info.

Eh, I would skip out on the ti hammer. They are known to have wear problems over time, and don't do that much for ya. You might have to use a harder main spring/ softer valve spring to do this also, to compensate for the lost weight.

Remember when going lp, it is not how far you go, but the spot where your marker is most efficient. To do that, you need to sweetspot your reg. If you don't know how to do that, I will supply you with instructions on how to.

Evo has dual ball detents. The bolt is grooved to accomidate that

So if you have the flush cocking would the boss evo bolt theoretically work on a less-expensive fish such as my eforce gti 2k4 even though I haven't drilled for a second detent yet?

It should work fine without the 2nd detent since it is just an extra groove on the other side of the bolt.

It will absolutely work. The flush cocking and EVO bolts are the exact same, minus the 2nd detent groove. Having it there without the detent will permit a TINY amount of air to get behind the bolt orings....This will have not notable effect on performance or efficiency. I highly recomend it...I wish I had gotten it instead of just the flush..Oh well....nothing a Dremel can't fix

Oh and eforcegtid00d...should be ashamed of your sig...jerking off to an 06 speed....you should know better.......It should be a G7

whats everyone's thoughts on the T-board? and would the eyes be worth the frame modding it'll take to install them?
Not that I would complain having a set of tight Timmy eye covers accenting my EXT frame
