...As for the flatline controversy i have put together a 98 Flatline installation power point presentation. Pm Me and i will send you a copy.
I'm not saying you have to agree with my methods or opinions, but it is my experience that when used correctly, the flatline is no gimmick.
with the 98 flatline there is a large margin of error, much was improved with the A-5 flatline.
low margin of error= happy children

Mod to tippman 8in barrel
I have a tippy standard 8in stock barrel and i am thinking about covering up some of the porting thats towards the middle of the barrel. Is this a good idea and will it increase accuracy at higher velocity. Right now i have to set my velocity low and aim my gun a good 20 ft above target to get accuracy at a target mabye 50ft away. I play woodsball

Nice job on bringin back dead thread , and covering up the porting will not do all that much for the performance of your marker.

Secondly, you need to decide what type of barrel best suits your marker, a single bore or a kit. Normally, a barrel kit would be a waste for an open bolt marker, as paint-barrel match isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be. [/b]
|
Y would it be a waste???? I have a TES and i was thinkin of gettin a Freak Kit

what does that mean the freak causes alot of barrel breaks

No, I think he means the porting on the Freak pulls fibers out of swab type squeegees whereas the AA will leave them in tact.

Another barrel to ponder, what about the CCM kit. Looks good on paper but how does it perform.

from what i heard it is worth the higher price tag im looking at one for my 98 not soo much the "self cleaning" just the fact that its supposedly more accurate than the one pieces.
