k, i finally figured it out on my own since no one on the forums cares enough to answer. yes they do have a flexible half. now does anyone know if any place has them in stock?

hey, that was me that said that. i know they have em in stock locally, im goin to my local field to try one on and prob buy one tommorow, with shipping, itll b cheaper there anyways, i just said that because i think they are getting the coloured ones in stock when they ship to the online stores, from what ive heard, no shop around here has the coloured ones in stock

i dont think that means much, all masks look at least a little similar, its not like theres lots of room for artistic creativity when it has to be the same shape every time

I was at my local proshop today. I checked out the Proto. It was cool. It doesn't look very pretty in a front view. But it was so easy to take out the lenses.

i guess the "jawline" of the two look kind of similar, but the porting is pretty different if you ask me

I have a proto switch. I got mine at www.canadianpaintball.com (5 days for delivery) but yeh, I live in Canada. Its a sweet mask. Very comfortable, very clear lense, looks great, and there's not tons of them around yet. Lense change is pretty easy, but if thats the main reason you are getting it; dont, get a v-force.

Naughty Dogs use them, Avalanche uses them, ect. If the mask was just "eh" then i don't think it would be the hardest mask for store owners to keep in stock or would have become the choice mask for pros.
I was going to get the proto then I went to the proshop and seen it. Its fugly! it was comfy except the chin strap. But the mask is really ugly the lense change was kinda hard so I got the profiler instead.

Not all of what pro's use is what they choose. Naughty Dogs switched their sponsorship up, they have to use profilers. Dynasty uses flex masks.

I love mine! Played today for 4 hours in 88 degree weather after a thunderstorm. Sweat was running down my face but they never fogged @ all! I switched from JT thermals. They were ok, these are better.
Try them if you can to make sure you like 'em. Mine are comfortable & have a great field of view. I would recommend them.

Maybe because not everyone has the mask. You would probably get better answers if you email Dye.
