First i would like to say that i have owned a halo b, an egg, and a reloader b and i like the reloader b the most but i believe that the halo b is a lot better that the egg II. One problem on the egg II is that the shell sucks and the door never works. Next it does not load as much as a halo B unless you get a z board and even then it really cant keep up. I only played with my egg and it broke both times. The first time it just didnt turn on. I tried replacing the batteries and putting paper behind the batteries and it just would not turn on. Then after a half hour trying to figure out what was wrong with it, i threw it on my bead and it turned on. The next week, my door would not stay closed. I have never had a problem with my halo or reloader even with the problem with dark paint for halos. First i have never even seen black paint, and second just get different paint. At every field there is high and low quality paint. One of them has to have lighter colors. But i think that you should screw a halo and an evo IIand just pay a little extra on a reloader b.

Depends on your needs
Making the right choice really does depend on what games you like to play, the gun you shoot, and your habits. If you own a super fast gun, play in areas with little cover and love to unload every chance you get, go with the halo. But I use the egg mainly because of its increased ball capacity. I have an ion pro and a 98 custom so theres no way I can shoot over 19-22 bps. Halos slight bps advantage doesnt apply to me and my gun. Those extra 20-25 balls I can fit in my egg help a lot.
All in all:
Halo- you shoot fast and are Ok with having to reload more ofter
Evolution II- You dont need or cant use those extra 2-3 bps. Youd rather have those extra 20-25 balls behind you
My choice: Egg: More ammo is better than faster firing that Ill never use. 2-3 bps probably isnt going to ever make a difference anyway
If you want to reply, message me, dont reply here because I wont see it

I think it is meant to mean that more balls = more potential eliminations, and assumes that if you have a HALO B you will always be shooting fast, and therefore be wasting paint.

After reading this forum and others I decided on the Eggy. My buddy has the Halo. For looks the Halo wins. Also there are a few funny things about the egg. Not really downsides, just things to get used to. For example...
- the door shut so hard and fast that I had a ball in the door and it pinched it between the door and hopper and ended up spraying paint all over the inside of the hopper. Maybe that was crazy bad luck but it almost happened again but instead of breaking the ball is launched the ball like a catapult into the air which actually was kinda cool.
- other weird thing is the Bat door. I know this has been complained about before but this is how it is. They have the door that closes on the batteries, then they have a little plastic thing that pushes even harder onto the batteries which is fine. But the bad part is the screw that holds the plastic thing on is not flush with it, so my screw pokes out about 1/8 inch past everything else. My two batteries were deeply scratched by this screw and I could see that it nearly broke open the batteries.
But the good news is I don't plan on opening up the battery door too many times so that wont be a problem and im sure the door to the hooper will just take some getting used to. Over all, I love this hopper. When comparing the two in price...no comparison, Eggy is $59 and you get a pretty cool blue jersey with it too.

Just one thing to say, I have tried an eggy and a halo B on my shocker
walking.. semi auto at the 15 bps cap and the halo B kept up the whole time whereas I could outshoot the eggy. this being said in the egg defense I played with my old evil omen and the halo did not work well because it was a force feed. the egg worked wonders on that gun and I never outshot.
I do belive that this was particualary biased in the case that you put your thoughts... unbiased would have been straight up facts and not your opinon on the matter.

You can't put the Halo B against the Eggy Y-board. The eggy wont even do 20bps unless u put the Z-Board in it then you could say Halo B vs. Eggy Z-Board. Other then that the Halo owns

and considering that the halo isnt WAY better than the evoII/III. you can prolly get more out the evo's with the price different. i woud rather have a hopper that costs bout 80$ and work really well rather than having one cost 140$ and workin barely better.

Halo B is not $140, it's $85. SO it's not that big of a difference at all.

The sort of whir-whir-whir-whiz whir-whir-whir-whiz sound? That's normal with a HALO B.

Honestly why even bother even thinking about buying either one? Seriously, if both have their cons why not just shop somewhere else for a better loader. Halos are unreliable and undependable when you're in a crunch and while eggs might be more reliable than Halo's their shells feel like they were made in a third world country in someone's backyard! Halo engineers have their work to do as also the viewloader engineers for their products. My opinion: don't buy either one! Just my two cents. Carry on. Cheers
