I FINALLY got ahold of tech support after 15 calls and 2 days...they pretty much don't know crap about the 2004 either, which I don't understand but they were absolutely as helpless as I am. The guy did say that alot of the features are disbaled for now and that the charge plug on the gun is also a data-port which will connect to a computer once they release the software which they have no idea when that will be. So much for tech support...might as well talk be talking to a wall. They have no idea when the online manual will be up either...I almost asked them "what do you know about it?". Anyhow there's the answer...for now.

One other thing I noticed is last night I let it charge for about 1 1/2 hours and went to check on it and it was too hot to hold the grip. The LCD screen looked as if it was melted on one side, couldnt read it at all. Once it cooled down it was fine but seems pretty dangerous to me. Is there a time limit to charge these? The gun does have a voltage meter now and after all the time and heat it was only up to 7.82 volts.

i'd get a new one, never heard of that happening
if i were you my wouldn't take the chance of your grip frame melting if it got that hot, but ya know i've had a charge port but it seams none of my friends have had problems with it

In the mean time I have a friend that sells Dragun products. I'll see if I can get something for you. It probably won't be tonight though.
Personally I wouldn't take the TES manual camping to use for a fire starter. That's how useless it is.
But, that's just my opinion.

If ext 112 doesnt work EXT.109 is also tech support

Well the new TES "Dragun X" has multiple fire modes. Semi 4-20 and 3, 6, 9 round burst, and full auto...did you buy an '04??? Maybe that's whats why it was firing in burst...just a thought.

Probably shouldn't leave it cocked when not in use. Takes the tension off the spring. Kinda odd it came already cocked.

My tes was ready right out of the box. When it was chrono'd, it was right on the money @280 fps.
