Need HELP with microswitch!!

I did the microswitch mod on my TES yesterday (the one when u cut the spring then stretch it) and it worked fine, but I tried it on my friends E-99, which had the same microswitch and after i finished i noticed the clapper switch only goes one way it wont go back and forth. It almost seems like there isn't enough swing room for it to go one way then the other. Does anybody kno whats wrong?

no but go to radioshack and buy a switch part number is

275-016a but thast stock a lighter switch is the same but u mount teh wires in different spots is 275-017a and you just pry it opena dn remove the bar then sodder wires on and put it back works good
