gimme a break about the looks...the bolt pin a a 1/4" bolt that i modded to the task of pull pin. what could i do to make the bolt look cooler? all halfy bolts look the same to me...
it is also my no means pressing structural integrity. the bolt, back block, and pull pin wiegh in at under 6 grams....and i'm sure i can trim 1 more gram off if i REALLY wanted to.
yes, i did mill that myself. i accualy did it 6 months ago or so...i recently considered doing it for other people as i was offered the oportunity to get some CNC work done (i would have a run of uber-secksi back blocks and pull pins run off and do the rest of it myself (the milling of the body and the making/fitting of the bolt)
the point of this thread is to see if it is econimicaly feasible...
EDIT: i could possibly try to do a midblock conversion as well if that is where the market is at...but i don't like metalic moving parts (and the midblock must be made of steel).
