Etek 3 AM/LT or DP Fusion FX?? HELP!!!!!!!!!

Alright sooo I need a new gun... I was using an FEP Quest not to long ago but it was stolen so now I'm forced to get a new gun...

I am looking in the $500-$600 price range and I want to be able to get a gun that I can just pick up and take to a tournament and dominate with.

So, I am considering the Etek 3's and also the Dangerous Power FX's. (I personally like my poppet valve guns)

I am sooo confused on which gun to get! Can someone help me out? I've drawn out mostly every Pro and Con and I still cannot decide so some help would be appreciated.

Hell ive seen Luxes going for just over $600 used here and there. Just saying the used market offers alot more doors.

However I'd go etek3 AM, just because Ive always been a loyal fan of eclipse, not for the gear but for the service they provide me

I have been looking at used stuff. I have friends selling Ego 9's for $500.... I am always open to used markers though.

I have always been a fan of Planet Eclipse and have always wanted an Intimidator style marker like an Ego or Etek.

Since I am not the one with the money... (My parents are) They want to buy stuff brand new just because it's coming from a legitimate source...

So I am set on new UNLESS I can convince my parents otherwise.

Consider the empire axe as well, if i was paying i'd get the axe and save some money, but since your parents are willing to pay $600..

well, ive never shot a dp fx, but that would be my choice because what i mostly look for in a gun is how light the gun is and how the gun feels in your hands, and how straight it shoots. I've shot a few etek 3s, and i was not very impressed.. The gun is heavy and has lots of kick and its super loud, the gun doesnt even shoot straight either. I didnt like how it felt in the hands either, and the packaging is over rated.. So my choice would be the FX
