An Easily Fixed problem?...

I'll prolly post this on the PBN forum later on, becasue it's so much more lively...just want to check here first.

I can get a really good deal on an Excal, but it has had some problems with velocity (not going high enough.) I don't really know too much about the problem, but I'm guessing it's one of these things

1. HPR or LPR turned down too far, or sticking, or something else trivial like that
2. tank not full

So, assuming it is easily fixed, I'll go ahead and get the Excal (yes )...I just want to know, might it be a problem with anything else on the gun? Because if I buy it, and it turns out it needs new noids or something, I don't want to be spending a couple hundred just getting it into working order...

thanks for any help, you'll most likely see this on PBN later if i cant figure it out. I'll try and get more info from the seller as to the problem, as well.

make sure the velocity screw on the sidewinder is flush with the bottom of the reg. This should be about 290-ish. I would also reccomend checking the the dwell on the gun. if its too high/low this can cause problems.

don't mess with the LPR. If it comes down to it, just call up AKA and send your gun in. If you have a warrantee they'll check it out for free, if not they'll fix it for pretty cheap.

good luck.

Great, thanks.

...EXCAL TIME!

I've always loved them, just never been able to afford one until now.
