"3. Storing gear in vehicles... If you store you marker gear in your vehicle all the time STOP DOING THIS!!! if people find out, your car will get broken into.
"
Actually, I find this to be the better option, which is more secure, the 40.00 storage case with a lock...or a LOCKED Vehicle??
I put my equipment in my vechile all the time, locked of course.
Although, cars have been known to be broken into for other reasons, like stereo equipment or whatever.
If you're that afraid that it will get stolen, cover your equipment with a blanket, so they don't see whats in there, and lock your vehicle.

Its also quite obvious when someone walks past your car and sees a clean car with a pile of blankets and pillows in one area.

the only problem I see with this sticky is with the brick through a window. A good citizen at that field must know somethings wrong and see whats happening.

Don't depend on others to look after YOUR gear.
Attempt to keep your marker in use on you at all times.

Ok, here is my thought on the subject... If someone wants your stuff bad enough, they are going to find a way to snatch it. Most equipment thefts are by opportunity. Someone will notice a nice gat laying on a table unattended, BAM its theirs!! If you have you stuff locked/secured and someone next to you doesn't, that other person will be the one on here with a sob story of their stuff getting stolen.
Point: Make your stuff a hard target. Secure your stuff, and/ or keep positive control of it at all times.

I don't even think a rope tied to the bumper of a car move that gear bag.

I have a great idea. If you have a friend who is a veterinarian, have him program you one of those grain of rice sized gps devices. You know, the ones that you put behind the neck of animals now a days to track them down if they get lost or stolen? yeah slip one of those under the grips of the gun. best part is they are not that expensive.

Hmmmm, why don't you just keep an eye on your gun or carry it with you?
Or keep it in your bag, I really don't see how thats hard. And I think you would notice (if you were keeping on eye on your gun!) if some creepy man was unzipping your bag and inspecting your gun.
THen asking to 'borrow' it

I don't know if this was mentioned, but if you can afford it get a small gps chip put in under you grips or stuffed some where in your trigger and track the gun if it is stolen.
I don't if thats possible but it's a good idea.

I wouldn't. I'd call the fuzz. I'm not going to get myself shot/stab/beaten/raped/ (it could happen) to stop someone from breaking into a car.

back to that marker stealing thing I saw a team well to player leave a nerve and a tonton shocker and people just walked up and started firing them and one started to alk away but someone stopped him. so locking it up would be smart or hide it some where, where no one is and I mean don't leave your whole god dam gear bag locked on a picnic table people can cut locks and if not they can find another way or sell it as a package to someone so yeah thats what I have to say
