new sticky idea...

someone should start a sticky that says what barrels work with certain guns. a good portion of the threads are "what barrel do they make for _____?" in the pump faq there is a part about trracer/mav threads but most ppl dont read it.

So people don't read the current stickies, but we want additional ones to help them out? I don't know how much info is really out there. Phantoms take phantom threads. Line SI bushmasters and Montneel guns share threads. Maverick/Tracer/Hornet/Tagmaster share threads. Illusions and Snipers (obviously) take cocker threads. SL-68's and Spitfires (I think) take the Tippmann clamp barrel shared by the .68 Special.

J&J makes barrels for Phantoms, Tracers and SL-68's. Some older brass J&J barrels are floating around for Bushmasters.

Smart Parts has made Phantom, Tracer and Bushmaster barrels in the past.

DYE barrels are available for the Phantom, but some have had quality control issues on the threads.

Lapco has some Phantom barrels out.

Taso Eliminators can be found for Tracers.

I guess if there's good information and I have some time, I can put together a sticky or (more likely) add it to the FAQ.
