Matrix leaks out barrel

Ok, so I just got a Gen-E. I gas it up with about 600 psi left in my fill and it all leaks out the barrel.
The guy I got it off of said I need to cycle it a few times to stop that.
Is that true? I haven't got the chance to gas it up again.
What would be wrong with it and how would i fix it?

umm change out the o-rings on and relube the bolt, and if the owner b4 said cycle it try both but it is most liekly the fact the o-rings arent sealing properly

You had low pressure, this is somewhat normal most of the time. You should be good. As with any matrix, get some back-up orings.
