the ram shaft is spinning. while i try to unscrew. should i get something to hold the shaft in place? and is there loctite to melt?

Yup, get something to hold it with. And yes, there is probably loctite on the threads.

this thing is not budging, i put a lighter to it for quite a while. the loctite must be strong.

Alrigh im lookin to get the smoothest shortest lightest pull i can get on my trilogy. I do know that i can get the shaft kit to get it as short as possible. But im not exactly sure how to get i light and smooth. I heardu can polish the sear or get better one. what would u suggest? Asn i know i can get new springs. what would u suggest for that/

Not much there, and the only thing you could screw up is your sear release point. Easily fixed, just takes time.

well the nut part at the staff end of the ram is getting in the way for me to put the ram in the boddy. the nut is bigger than the stock ram nut. there isnt room.

well i put my new nexus ram on after a lil sanding, put the qev on, but only one. i ended up breaking one qev by overtighening the qev on the back of the ram. so my ram is on, no leaks, one front qev, and one regular barb on the back.

And I have to tell that the Nexus ram needs sanding.
