You don't have to get a new bottom line, but I would recommend a Macroline kit when you do get a new drop. You can cut the hose to the length you need. And it's easy to take it out, unlike SS hoses.

And I think I figured out you were a noob to 'Cockers.

First off, tell him not to touch it.

As for lubing, after a day of play, put a drop or two in the asa. Then take off the barrel, put a rag in front of the breech, and dry-fire roughly 30 times or so. For types of lube, go with Gold Cup.

Also, take a look at the Super FAQ. Lots of information in it.

It's more flexible then SS hoses. SS is stronger, but nothing really happens with Macroline. I use it on both of my guns.

Not that I've heard of. Only way to adjust the pull is to get a Shaft kit. Link is here:

I suggest you get HPA if you don't have it. And a motorized loader.

Stock barrels, any most guns, suck. Should've gone with a CP 2-piece.

Can happen to any barrel. Depends on paint to barrel match.

His paint is probably to big for the barrel. Does he have a 'Cocker or any other Closed bolt marker?

And that barrel is a All American. They can use Freak or All American tips. A barrel kit is the best choice, but I would go wtih a CP 2-Piece.
