Another satisfied trilogy owner
I used to play awhile back, had a spider imagine but I sold all my stuff and left the sport for several years. I knew I would be back. :p Picked up a WGP trilogy competition and Im hooked again.
I think the first upgrade im going to do is a HPA tank and mabey a new regulator.

I think I'm going to put an anti-siphon on and a drop forward, because HPA is out of my price range at the moment I've seen some guy who put an <e-blade> on his comp to make it electric (i think that's what it did, soory i'm a newb!) should i invest in one of those?

That is completely up to you. But you can't touch a used E1 or E2 for anything less than $150, if you're lucky. An anti-siphon is better than regular CO2 but I would buy a HPA tank before I get an E1/E2 or select fire frame. Plus, if any CO2 gets into the solenoid your hurt the gun.

So what can the E1 and E2's do? Do they turn the gun into an electro or...?

Yes, they are electronic frame kits, giving you a much shorter, much lighter trigger pull. Most aspects of the markers timing is controlled electronically, short stroking, in the mechanical sense, becomes impossible, you can install a breech sensor to eliminate chopping, some firmware versions offer ramping as well as semi auto, you have access to shot counters, game timers, rate of fire counters (on the E2 and ZeroB boards) and a whole host of other features.

But it is Highly recommended to get HPA (or nitro) installed so you don't freeze up the boards first like Jeep Brute stated

Not the board that would have problems with CO2, but the pneumatic solenoid certainly could.

Oh, ok! what's the main difference between E2 and Zero B boards (other than price), and i'm sorry if someone has posted this already.

There is actually a whole stuck thread regarding the E2 and ZeroB (not to mention that these have nothing specific to do with the Trilogy markers, so shouldn't be dealt with in this thread anyway).
Exact same board, but the ZeroB is an upgrade board for the original E-Blade. Basically gives the E-Blade the same features as an E2. The programming is different, as the viewing window in the E-Blade frame is narrower than the one in the E2. The ZeroB's coding has to be changed so that it's LCD displays all the same information as the E2's, but in a smaller space.

So, if i decide not to get an e2 or zero b board, I can still change my trigger frame on my comp, to make it double instead of 1.5, without the 400$ price tag of the electro ups right? and if I can get a new trigger, any ideas which one would be the best bang for its buck?

Any autococker trigger will fit. I would search eBay, you can pickup a like new orracle or regular hinge frame for $20 shipped. And why are you asking this question when your sig says you're a rookie-pro?

Or to put that another way, any mechanical frame will fit - the actual trigger is another matter. However, you may need to invest in a Tech-T Shaft kit, which is an aftermarket adjustable timing rod for the Trilogy markers. You might need it to get the timing spot on with a different frame.

I meant i'm looking for players whos experience is at the Rookie-pro area. I myself am very new at this, And i'm assuming that there aren't alot of extremely good players here in guelph, so i'd take anyone who knows anything about pb
Yeah, i'm looking to put a double trigger on there, because the 1.5 kind of bothers me. I don't think I would need to get a new inline regulator if I changed the frame would i?
Thanks for the help again. both of you.
These are the ups I want to put on my trilogy (in order). Please tell me if I have missed something crusial, or what brand of product I should get. (Note: I do not want to get an E2 or electro grip for my trilogy, I decided that I would much rather spend 400$ on a new marker<later>).
HPA air system (which size would be most beneficial?)
new trigger + trigger frame (again, looking at a double trigger)
new bolt
new barrel
I don't think I'd need a new hopper because of the fact that my gun isn't electro and therefor my VL revolution should be able to keep up with my fingers!

heh, yeah that was my line of thinking. I really missed having an electric trigger though so I already bought a 05 superstock. I hear the membrane pads on them like to break alot so I might keep the trilogy around as a backup.
I dont think you should really worry about the bolt, and mabey get a regulator instead.

ok thanks! I hear that you should only ever have 2 0r 3 regulators on your gun, for it reduces air flow and the like. Anyway, because I have the inline regulator on my gun already, sorry dumb question, but where would I install the second one?

all high end cockers have 3 regs
1st- HPA reg on your tank
2nd- Inline reg (this determines your Operating Pressure)
3rd- LPR (This controls your cycling speed and ability to chop)

I meant get a better one, like a good inline so you can adjust it without having to take off the line.
