Erratic Flight Paths

I haverecently used Proto Darts for my first case of paint for my PM6 and noticed that the balls mostly had erratic flight paths making it accurate to like 30ft

Is it a bad barrel match? Is my velocity too high? I dont want to adjust anything till I break it in. I hope someone can help

well unless your velocity is over 300 then it should not affect it. it is either you got a bad batch of paint, or teh barrel match.

Chrono your marker and turn it down a little if its over 300fps. And clean your barrel the stock proto barrel is crap as soon as you break paint in it. I was shooting proto darts out of my proto barrel yesterday with no problems.

Cool... It may have been that my hopper was feeding too slow. However I could see the seems on the paintball

That shouldn't matter if your barrel is clean. Also what are you using for lube on your bolt. I was using dye slick lube and I couldn't get my velocity to be consistant enough to shoot right. I switched to dow 33 and its so much better now.

Make sure the barrel is clean, the breach is clean and that your bolt face isn't getting lube on the paint(it does happen).

Well, at the moment I was using DYE Slick, but now im using dow33. Also It's not mybarrel match. I recently used evil and I realised that my velocity was too high and I live too far froma field to just go and chrono. The balls were curving everywhere. It reminded me of my Tippmann A-5 ugh

Unless you got a bad batch of Darts (which has never happened to me), it sounds like it's your barrel. Clean it out, make sure that you clean it after any and all breaks (chop or barrel break), and be sure that the bore is the same size or larger than the paint that you're shooting.
