Thinking of getting this gun for a starter gun. What are some of the recommended up grades for this gun? And which barrel would be a good choice?

The Custom Products one piece classic barrel is very good for the money. I got that for my R6 and tested it at the shooting range at Pevs Paintball. I think the targets were 50 ft away and I was hitting a 10-12 in. target most of the time. That was wit a bad batch of Zap Sport series paintballs, which aren't to good to begin with. And with Dusk paintballs Tthey were flying very straight. Other than that I don't know much about upgrades in general. I hope that helps you.

if your dicide to buy the EVO buy one off ebay they are going as cheep as 110$ new

on getting Ups it maing matters on how much $$$ you have

on barrels i would buy a barrel kit unless your poor buy a teardrop or j & j

I agree with these two, except theres no reason to get a barrel kit for a blowback, simply too much money to spend, I'd recommend the cp one piece, teardrop or progressive, or the j&j

compressed air and a new reg. i have a bob long torpedo reg and it works just fine for me. maybe a clamping or locking feedneck down the line. i personally like my custom products twistlock feedneck.
