so, you want to know if an ion will be better than any of the other competing markers, eh? well, this is the thread to help you decide, but it's not going to give you a straight up answer. nobody's going to be making any decisions for you, especially not some anonymous internet folk. to decide if the ion is right for you, take the following steps:

1. READ THE STICKIES! the FAQ, facts, and other stickies will tell you what you need to know about the ion. air source, modes, upgrades, and other features... you name it. the FAQ also has links to previously made VS. threads.
2. READ THE REVIEWS! compare the reviews of the markers you're looking at. they're written by people that have experience with them.
3. SHOOT THEM! the main factor in purchasing any gun is if you're comfortable with them or not. if you don't have access to an ion and/or the other marker(s) you're looking at, there's no way to tell which one you'll like better. asking people here isn't going to help you. if you can't decide which to choose based on the information obtained from this site, then simply flip a coin, because there's no other good way to decide.

mag... seriously, i'm stuck between getting this which i havent even heald(going to scheels today so i hope they have one) or buying a ule mag which i have an idea how to work on. i know the ion is around the same blow forward and single tube wise but with all the extra tubes, i'm thinkin' i'll mess something up. just the way i am lol.

true the omen does chop like mad. it is a "blender" the Wrath is OK i guess to me it just is like a cheap imatation of like an intimadator or something like that. the ION is an an awsome gun i find it increadibly hard to mess it up. i found it to be very reliabul and work exclend. up untell the time my banjo fitting brok thanxs to my inept cuz tightining it to much. for this price class of E guns the ION is sirtinly the way to go. and when it comes to ION vs. SHOCKER ion less prblems les break downs. if any one dissaggrees with me e-mail me and tell me what u have found diffrent. my address is

As ips518 touched on, Ion > Wrath because there is more aftermarket support for Smart Parts markers than there is for Diablo markers.
