Bottom-line stock Phantom question

I'm considering getting a bottom line Phantom, with a 10-round stock tube (instead of a direct-feed)

First off -- Is this the dumbest idea ever? (I like that I'll never have to pay for 12 grams, I can use the bottle as a stock, and I still save paint and have a low profile with the 10-round tube.) Would it be better to get a 15-round tube?

But my biggest question: With the bottom line set up as it is, is it particularly uncomfortable to hold? Like, does the macroline rub up against your wrist/arm or what?

using a different style asa, and a macroline kit you can put the hose going forward and it wont get in the way. I prefer using a open class phantom, simple bc 10 rnd tubes are a PITA for me. Not to mention Ive lost a crap ton of them and they take awhile to get in harness's. Just wasnt worth the time and effort for me.
