i haven't been to pev's in ages... well since november. damn co2. Have they changed anything yet? On the website they said renovations are coming. Bridge at compound? that would be nice.

yo..you mean november 03? cuz I was there for their dream world scenario. They Had a bridge at compound but when the huricane hit it knocked it down. All thats left of it was one of the strings and some planks hanging on.

I know that its just they said that they might build another bridge after that. Since its the "offseason" I have not been there in a few months. damn snow.

From what I've heard (having talked to the powers that be) the bridge saga is a mess. Every bridge that's been put in has washed away during hurricanes/flooding and so on. I don't know if they're going to try and do another one or not. The trouble they had the last time wasn't with the bridge but the tree that the support was tethered too. It's roots/base was washed away and slipped into the creek. I do know that they're going to try and build the castle field in the spring. The field is buying the wood, Pev is going to have the teams come out and help build it. It's damn icy out at the field now. This would be a great weekend to go play if the ice has all melted.

Yea, I went yesterday and it was either extemely muddy or icy on the paths. Most of the fields were ok. You just had to watch your step. compound was horrible we did not cross the water and played on one side of the field. According to one of the refs, a kid got shot in the eye by one of his friends.(must have been a party) so now the safty is upped even more. Make sure your goggles fit on nicely because you will wear them a lot. I love how much safer they are than other fields.

This summer I'll be playing a lot of Paintball if anyone wants to meet somewhere. I'll probably go up to Skyline in Strasburg (Link in Signature) most of the time. I'm thinking of trying to do only 2-3 times a month, since Strasburg is a good 2-2.5 hours from my house. But if anyone wants to meet up at Pevs or any place better/more fun then tell me and I'll gladly go see a new field.

Well, after finally allowed to drive more than 30 minutes away I can make the 45 minute trip to Pevs so I'll be there 2-4 times a month this summer. Hope to have some fun! And I got an ad from Pev's about their sale and it said that they will start rebuilding the bridge in April.

chesterfeild here, i usally play at splatbrothers, but i drop by at PBA for the PAPL young gun division tourneys
we took 3rd at the first tourney of the season, gonna go to another one in 2-3 months, but walkons till then
