Help for a new player please??

Hi, thanks for looking by the way, but I am fairly new to upgrading guns and I want to try replacing the ram on a Bob Long Protege. Will the Evil Intimidator Ram & Punch Kit on ANS Gear work on the Protege, considering it's fairly new? Thanks for looking!

nope. I think theres only 1 or 2 aftermarket rams made for the protege, the lurker or eigenram (havnt looked into them as i dont own a protege).

However theres no point in upgrading the protege. All the gun really needs out of the box is a on/off asa.

Agreed. The only decent aftermarket ram for the Protege is the Eigenram by Lurker Paintball. The Evil kit is for a gen 2/3. The Protege is a gen 5.

Unless you come across a Kapp Thumper ram. Be aware that it is very difficult to change only one part and have it be truly effective. Tuning Intimidators is great fun and I hope you enjoy the project. swapping rams usually involves changing out return springs and experimentation with dwell settings. I have an eigenram in my Empire 2 and have been really happy with it.

agreed the best part about the Eigenram is the fact that its lightweight and reduces kick
