68/4500 tank only to 2000 psi
I just started using a 68/4500 HPA tank. The first time I went to use it at my local field, the owner said it was $10 CDN for the day for nitro. So they filled my tank and I look at the guage at it was only at 2000 psi. When I bought the tank I got a 3000 psi fill from the store owner. So I asked the owner to fill it some more because it was not very full and I wanted as many shots as possible. She told me "I'm not trained to fill nitrogen and I've seen what happens to people who over fill tanks. My rule here is to never fill over 2000 psi. That's why it's $10 for the whole day" I understood but was slightly peeved. I like to go bushballing. The field is where I get my tank filled. 2000 psi out in the bush isn't exactly what I want to be at.
Any suggestions on how to get my tank filled?
What other places would fill my nitro tank for me?
What is the maximum psi my tank goes to? (I assumed 4500 but I'm not sure)
How many shots can I expect out of only 2000 psi?
Any help would be great on how to get around this problem. Thank you guys

Yes your tank can go to 4500 psi. The pop off valve on your tank "should" burst at 5000 psi. The rupture pressure on a 4500 psi tank is something like 7000 psi. Off 2000 psi you should get about 300-500 shots from a low pressure gun.

Yes, a 68/4500 tank can be filled to 4500psi.
Paintball shops, other fields, diving shops (if they have the correct adapters) and air rifle shops (if the deal in pre-charged pneumatic rifles) should be able to fill for you.
How many shots you get from 2000psi will depend on the efficiency of your marker, so it will change from gun to gun, but in simple terms, not many. If you were getting let's say 1300 shots from a 4500psi fill, you'd only get around 550-580 from a 2000psi fill.

would you say bothering the employee to fill it more would be a bad choice?

Well, you could try, but you could just get banned, so maybe not worth the bother! Sounds like there wouldn't be anything you could do to convince her anyway.
If the place has any other employees, you could always ask if one of them would fill your bottle for you.

the burst disc will actually blow at around 7200 psi

The local diving shop said, "Our tanks are set to fill at 3200psi"
This would still work fine, just not a full tank right?

Yes, anything *below* the maximum fill pressure is fine, and 3200psi will obviously give more shots than 2000psi. Definitely a step in the right direction.
