First thread in here! Just thought I'd start it out by showing off the new PL Ego. I'm not to impressed but hey, it looks alright.

I'll be the first to say it. FUGLY! I'd take my stock ego over it. Plus its $150 cheaper

I like the black with green myself, but if I was going to buy a PL ego I'd save up a bit more and get a different one.

It pretty much looks just like the original Ego. There is barely any change. The colors combinations are nice though. Thats what makes it look so good.

Ego Rating:

1. Nexus Ego
2. Mantis Ego
3. Regular Ego
4. XSV Ego

Thats how I rate it. I only like the XSV in the gold with black accents though. The other one is just alright. Im not into all the milling on it

I think the trigger guard is fine...and the stock ones are alittle small for my liking.

Bigger, go ahead but the wavy look it has is so stupid. I just hate it a ton. It has ruined all Egos for me, stock is the only one I like. Just for that reason. I guess that's a good thing because that means i'll spend less money on an Ego when I do get one by not getting a PL one.

IMO I liked the larger trigger guard over the stock one. I'm a person who needs a larger trigger guard cuz my fingers like space to move on the frame. The wavy look might not be as appealing as the stock one, but looks come secondary to performance.

Oh, and I personally think the Mantis jewel is ugly.

im not a big fan of either color schemes. i love the miling though.
